Swiss Manor

Swiss Manor sits on the northeast side of Flagstaff at the foot of Mount Elden, about 4 miles from downtown, at roughly 6,900 feet among mature ponderosa pines. Streets such as North Swiss Road and North Lugano Way carry the Swiss theme, and recent sales were homes built from 1971 to 1986. Homes are mostly single-level ranches and two-story houses, with custom homes in the western section and a townhome section called The Village.

Swiss Manor buyers usually come for the trails. We point out that the homes are from the 1970s and 1980s, so the inspection and update budget deserve as much attention as the view of Mount Elden.

Over the last twelve months the MLS shows 14 closings: 13 single-family homes between $575,000 and $950,000, with a median of $700,000 and the middle half between about $615,000 and $740,000, plus one townhome at $350,000. The typical single-family home was about 1,900 square feet, built around 1976, on about 8,400 square feet. Median days on market was 52, and only one of the 14 sales listed an HOA fee.

The draw is the mountain. Coconino National Forest trails at the base of Mount Elden, including the Pipeline Trail, Fatman's Loop, and Sandy Seep, connect toward Buffalo Park and Elden Lookout, and listings often describe forest trails across the street. Bushmaster Park, about a mile south, has a dog park and courts, and the Flagstaff Mall and the East Flagstaff Community Library are nearby.
